APRIL GARRISON, REALTOR

April lives on a family farm outside of her native Salem, VA where she grew up riding and showing horses. With a forestry degree from West Virginia University, April worked a corporate quality control position in the wood products industry and then sold resort real estate in Oklahoma before following her dreams to return to the Blue Ridge Mountains. She's since established a real estate career focused on historic homes,  horse farms, and unique country places - from elegant manor homes to  fun and funky cabins.  April manages all marketing for Land Matters, LLC listings, handling such tasks as creating property maps, staging homes, researching property values, managing all of the different advertising venues, and also finding new and creative niche marketing ideas.
